Brief introduction
An archaeologist, specializing in the study of archeology and ancient languages. He has held many positions during his career as the director of Dohuk antiquities and senior head of research in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. He has published many articles, books, and studies on archeology and archaeological discoveries in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq.
By his work, he met many important figures, including archaeologists, politicians, diplomats and others, and accompanied them on tours of the Duhok National Museum and the archaeological sites in Dohuk Governorate.
He was born in the village of Hadeenah - Amadiyah District - Dohuk Governorate. On 2-March-1969. He grew up in his hometown, then he was deported from the village to the palace complexes there. He completed his studies at Zakho Boys High School in 1986, joined the University of Baghdad - Department of Archeology, Cuneiform Branch, and graduated from it in 1990.

1. The first archaeologist who was able to establish and spread archeological concepts throughout the Badinan area, as he personally excavated, documented, recorded and published many results of important archaeological excavations and discoveries in the Badinan area in decent international scientific journals within his specialization in Archeological researches, excavations and studies in the field of ancient languages and the Kurdish language. He was able to restore many lost links from the heritage and civilization of Kurdistan for the first time in history with solid scientific evidence, relying on archaeological findings that he discovered through excavation, research and investigation throughout the Badinan area and spread archaeological awareness to strengthen the bonds of the relationship with the land and the homeland.

2. One of the pioneer Kurdish archaeologists as he was able for the first time in the history of Kurdistan to form and manage independent Kurdish archaeological missions and also jointly with foreign archaeological missions, and he was able to make great archaeological discoveries whose fame spread in the global media and are considered one of the unique archaeological discoveries in the world.

3. He proved his ability and success in field work as a skilled archaeologist, as he discovered and collected more than four thousand artifacts, and founded the National Museum of Dohuk and was able to display more than a thousand artifacts in it with an advanced international system for the first time. Some of these pieces are rare and rather unique and has no parallel in any other museum.

4. He is the first archaeologist who was able to protect some important heritage buildings in Dohuk Governorate and saved them from demolition as a result of the massive urban development. Some of them inside the city center of Dohuk, including the buildings of (Kawa Preparatory School, Art Institute, old court, Kemblan (Chamberlain) Palace and part of the adjacent buildings, (the old Qishla building) in Akre and (the old Qishla building) in Zakho district.

5. He is credited as the first Kurdish archaeologist who innovated in the idea of antiquities maintenance by relying on local staff in cooperation with international experts according to the regulations and laws of archaeological maintenance in addition to the idea of fencing, protecting and managing archaeological sites, including (Khanis, Jerwana, Chararstin, and the cemetery Al-Sultania, Isa Bridge, Cora Serige site, Badinan Gate, Mir Ali Khan Bey dome, in addition to the maintenance of Dalal Bridge in Zakho. Through the maintenance process of Dalal Bridge in Zakho, he was also able to detect the true history of the bridge and proved that the bridge's construction dates back to the fourth century AD and that it was built by the Byzantines.

6. The first archaeologist who proved with conclusive evidence that Kurdistan was not only the original home of man’s conversion to agriculture, industry and animal domestication, but it was also the home of the creation of arts and religious ceremonies and writing as well through colored pictures drawn on the walls of the rock shelters that he discovered for the first time in the history of Kurdistan and the world as well.

7. He is one of the most famous archaeologists in the world, as he has an active presence in international conferences all over the world, and even has many excellent lectures that he gave in those conferences and surprised scientists with his outstanding and important discoveries at the global level in the field of archeology.

8. The first archaeologist who managed to form the Kurdistan Archeology Organization, which had the greatest merit in discovering the palace, the city of Zakhiko, through its joint work with the University of Tübingen, Germany.

He is considered a pioneer in the field of archeology, as he is characterized by his wit and mental capabilities that enabled him to succeed and excel in many projects and discovered important artifacts on the world level. This was not a coincidence, but rather came as a result of his great interest in scientific research and field work, his dedication to work, self-reliance, facing challenges and obstacles, his pursuit of quiet diplomacy to solve problems and his strong and unique personality and doing work on site by himself with workers for his modesty to accomplish difficult tasks and add what is new and unique to archeology with all merit and distinction, which made him the focus of attention of many.
